The wallnut shell is an adorable and quaint little hotel in the heart of the old city district. Walking distance to many major attractions. The staff at the hotel were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast, which is served next door at the Harmony Hotel, was a delicious spread and a great way to start the day.

The staff was excellent. Any problems fixed straight away. No complaints. Very professional and well organised by the manager. Polite and courteous. Room very warm, daily cleaned with new towels. Brilliant location. Manager and staff exceeded expections with their constant will to keep customers happy.

Kadir, the owner and his family are very pleasant, kind and helpful. Upper room has a balcony with good view to the sea and hotel is located very close to all great sightseeings of Istanbul

Excellent staff. Kadir is very kind and professional. The room was very comfortable and has a big balcony. The hotel is very close to the main attractions, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and so on. Many restaurants and shops around the place.

The staff is attentive and genuinely helpful, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. We appreciated the thoughtful gesture prepared for our arrival, and the team offered great support in organizing local activities. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and our room , very clean, and comfortable. A pleasant experience overall.

Since it was our first trip to Istanbul and we did not know about transportation in general, we contacted the hotel and asked for advice. Then the transfer from the airport to the hotel was arranged and it was very comfortable and easy to reach our hotel. We checked into the hotel late at night. The young man at the reception carried our luggage to the room and gave us a map. It is impossible to find fault with the location of the hotel. All bazaars, mosques, palaces and other must-see places are within walking distance. This is a very small but clean and peaceful hotel. We felt comfortable and safe like at home. Room cleaning was done daily. Towels and sheets were always changed and very clean. T here are dozens of restaurants nearby that serve good food at affordable prices. We would definitely like to stay when we come to Istanbul again.
